We recently planned a visit to Ljubljana and unfortunately forgot to book a tour in advance. Fortunately, the staff member Sanja was incredibly friendly and helpful. She did her best to offer us a solution and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you, Sanja, for your wonderful support! Ljubljana is a beautiful city, and we look forward to coming back!

The young lady at the visitor center was very helpful and friendly. I stopped by several times with questions. She gets 5 stars. But the walking tour that originated at the visitor center was disappointing. The starting time of 11 am is not good. I was told to get a ticket by 9:30 but then wait around with not much open or to do. When we did start on a lovely but cool early October morning our guide slowly began telling us about the rich history of the lovely city. Slowly being the key word . 45 minutes into the walking tour we could still see where we had started. Plus she had us stand in the shade instead of the warming sun which would have felt good in the morning chill. I gave up and wandered off. I had limited time to explore the very charming city by using my city card. The card is a good value and the Railroad Museum and House of Illusions plus a few others place made it worth it, the walking tour did not

We dropped by to find out what are things to do in the area since we had limited time. The representative was helpful. We had a full day to spend in Ljubljana and bought Ljubljana Pass from Tourist Center €36 each. It was well worth it since we were able to visit several museums, ride the funicular to the castle and the tourist “bus”, etc.

Review of the guided walking tour, starting point just outside the TIC, offered at 11 am and 3 pm, two hours long: English-speaking guide Simona was great. Two hours of telling a group of 18 about the history and architecture of the older parts of town. All interesting, relayed in a pleasant manner. She kept everyone’s attention throughout, as she pointed out various landmarks and the stories and people behind them. On a busy Saturday, rather than our lining up for the funicular, we received tickets usable in the next six months. I was happy to postpone my visit to the Castle until a quieter day.

Sve preporuke! Devojke koje rade tu su baš ljubazne i tu su da ti odbasje sve što te zanima. Išla sam na vođenu turu kroz grad i vodič Urban je takođe bio odličan, saznali smo mnogo zanimljivosti o samom gradu i vidi se da je baš posvećen svom poslu i da voli to što radi. Sve najbolje o njima!

The best tourist office I’ve ever been! The girls on the reception were really helpful and so nice to us. They gave us all the information we needed. But the best of our stay in Ljubliana was the amazing tour guided by Tanja, she’s an amazing tour guide, she knows a lot of languages and she loves her job and you can feel that whenever she’s guiding. She was also an amazing person who gave us a lot of tips and information about Slovenia, we are sure that we will meet her again in another part of the world! See you soon Tanja!! And for the kind girls in the office it was a pleasure meeting you!!

We went there a couple days ago and the workers were fantastic and incredibly nice, we ended up getting the Ljubljana card and it was absolutely worth it and using it for the first time with the walking tour the next morning. The walking tour became the highlight of our whole trip throughout Slovenia. Our guide was Tanja and she was great, she knew a lot of languages and she spoke them really fluently. Aside from that the pace was perfect and she was amazing and charming! Every recommendation she gave us for the following days ended up being perfect! So thanks to Tanja and everyone who works inside the Information desk! You made our trip even greater!
