It was a pleasure to meet Marko and discover his work. We also felt very lucky to attend a workshop with him. He is so passionate about his work and shares very good story. We enjoyed every moments of the workshop. His art is also a great way to bring back a « made in Slovenia » souvenir !

We spent over an hour in this store, amazed at the quality of the craftsmanship of the paper and other products. The woman who was working was extremely helpful. She excitedly explained so many things about the products and stories behind many of the items. My husband spent several minutes talking directly with owner/craftsman about his work and their shared interest in architecture. We brought home several pieces of the artwork, including a poster that reads, "Forgive and let's go," which immediately struck me as a mental health therapist. If you find yourself in Ljubljana, which if the opportunity presents itself, do it, take time to visit this store.

We had so much fun meeting and talking with Marko. Not only is the process of printing fascinating but it was also super cool to hear about Marko’s passion for education and creating impactful experiences for children. We also bought an interesting printed piece and can’t wait to proudly display it in our home. A must visit for all types of people of every age!

A beautiful place run by a wonderful man. My wife and I did a printing workshop here on a recent trip and it was excellent. If you're at all intrigued by this place, then you must pay it a visit. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks, Marko!

Wir hatten einen Workshop bei Marko gebucht und es war eine großartige Erfahrung. Man spürt seine Leidenschaft für sein Handwerk und seine Geschichte. Er hat uns alle Schritte vom Design über den Druck bis hin zum Aufräumen erklärt, war offen für jede Frage und hat sie fachkundig beantwortet. Wir waren beeindruckt, haben viel gelernt und sehr viel Spaß dabei gehabt, unser Poster fertigzustellen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

What a special shop and shop owner. We stumbled upon Marko’s storefront while hunting for a Christmas ornament to symbolize our trip to Slovenia. His store isn’t geared towards those sort of items, but he was so genuinely kind and friendly during our exchange. Later, we found a plain, wooden Christmas ornament from a store called Dom, but we felt it was lacking character or a tie to Slovenia specifically. My husband had a great idea to go back to Marko’s shop to see if he would be able to add something to the ornament to make it more unique since Marko is a calligrapher. Marko immediately pulled out his tools and was willing to give it a try! The result - one of the most special ornaments that we own (we buy one to represent and look back on each trip) and it has such a heartwarming story tied to it now. Thank you Marko! I highly recommend his shop to anyone.

Wir hatten heute unseren Kurs und es war so toll! Es hat unfassbar viel Spaß gemacht und war der beste Teil meiner Reise nach Slowenien! Marko ist einfach so unglaublich nett und hat uns alles ganz toll erklärt. Wir hatten den Kurs zusammen mit zwei anderen Damen und auch die beiden waren toll. Schade dass Slowenien so weit für uns weg ist, sonst würde ich nächste Woche wiederkommen! Und am Ende darf man sein Plakat auch noch behalten! Ganz tolle Erinnerung besser als jedes andere gekaufte Souvenirs :) Danke :)

This shop is a great place on so many different levels. At the most basic, if you are looking for a nice, handmade souvenir for yourself or someone back home, this is a great shop. Whether you pick up the great letterpress printed items made right there, or for something truly unique, the river stones on which the owner, Marko Drpić, hand carves letters in almost any font that you want, you can't go wrong. At another level just looking around Marko's shop is like being in a museum, as letterpress printing is a vanishing art. But for a real treat, Marko offers printing workshops where you can spend 1.5 hours or 3 hours learning about printing, his shop, and actually making your own prints to take home... In our case, my wife and I made a print of the Slovene alphabet, a fitting memento of the experience, the time and place in Ljubljana. Cannot think of a better way to spend some time in this beautiful city.
