I came here for breakfast, and it was a lovely little room. The waitress was very friendly as well. After some thought I went with the cheese and spreads platter, but I think other choices are even better. The two cheeses you get are very interesting, and I applaud it, but they don't taste too much unfortunately. Some of the spreads are very dominating, so you can't taste some of the cheesy flavors when you eat them together. Still, nice place, but maybe it's better for lunch or dinner?

The Barbella lemonade and polenta sticks were good - not a bad start. The lion's mane steak.. I'm not sure if we got a bad batch of mushrooms but it tasted awful. Truth be told, one of the worst meals I've ever had. We all couldn't eat more than a few bites and I was sick all night thereafter. The positive reviews, specifically on the steak, have me thoroughly confused but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Great vegan restaurant with many tasty options! We tried the quiche, roasted cabbage, pumpkin risotto and hummus. The roasted cabbage was particularly nice, but the would recommends all the dishes we tried! The staff was very friendly, except that they forgot about a coffee we ordered on one occasion, but the restaurant was full and we weren’t very insistent, so wouldn’t count that as a minus. It’s a great place!

We had lunch outside the restaurant on a very hot Wednesday in September. Since we were not very hungry, we went for something light and found on the menu grilled peaches and cucumber on a feta creme with pumpkin oil. It arrived quickly with a few slices of very good bread and was even more delicious than we had imagined. The staff was relaxed and kind, but not as observant as they could have been, especially when we wanted to pay. The outside seating worked well, the tables were sufficiently spaced that you did not have to listen to other parties' conversations. All in all one of the best, albeit smallest, meals we had during our time in Ljubljana.

Very nice cafe in a lovely square in the earth of Ljubljana. They have a lot of vegan options, so hard to choose what to have! I had a regular coffe with oatmilk that only Italy could beat. With it I had a traditional dessert named "Bled cream cake" Wich was lovely. I am very happy to have visit this place and to enjoy a vegan version of something traditional.

Friendly staff, we enjoyed mixed cheese board (especially the hard cheese). Good portion size. The pumpkin risotto was quite nice but could have been hotter and had a bit more seasoning. Great DDH beer.

Had breakfast today - the home made bread with hummus, avocado and carrots was delicious. The coffee was very good too. The service was very kind, sweet and quick - the place was very, very pretty - even the restroom looked so very nice and stylish. Would come back for sure.

Amazing vegan food!! We had the roasted cabbage which was delicious, well seasoned and soft and the lions mane steak which- no word of a lie- tastes and feels like the slow roasted beef cheeks I had the night before. There was a lovely selection of desserts and lots of gluten free options as well. Staff are friendly and kind, service was prompt and the atmosphere is very hip and chill. It’s always lovely to find a vegan restaurant that does food better than the rest. What a gem!

I’ll be honest, I don’t understand how this place has such high reviews. My partner and I were left feeling very underwhelmed with the dishes we ordered. My juice (the strawberry and cabbage one) was too acidic to drink. The hummus we ordered was not blended properly and the polenta was too dry. The peach salad in yogurt was the best dish we ordered though nothing to write home about. Service was slow. Atmosphere was average.

I think I chose the dishes wrong… The mushroom “steak” was excellent, but I thought that it would be bigger for this price. I know the mushroom is expensive, but this was just too pricey. The burger is bad, it tasted like vinegar. Only vinegar. Bad. The watermelon (summer) juice was wonderful. The lemonade was bad (just water with some drops of lemon). Order water with a lemon slice that will probably be cheaper. The cheesecake did not taste good, it has a weird taste on the background, I think it’s from the dough. Texture was good, though. The banana bread is average, can’t complain about it but won’t ever order it again. So… to summarise it: I would come back for the mushroom steak and watermelon juice, if I get a raise 😂

This is my favourite newly opened vegan restaurant in the heart of Ljubljana! The staff is really friendly, the atmosphere is cosy and lastly the food is incredible. Would recommend to vegans and non-vegans to stop for just a coffee and a croissant or for a full meal.
