Wonderful service in my distraught moment. Late in the evening, I arrived in Slovenia and the airline lost my luggage. I made my way to my Airbnb door on a walking street in the town center. My phone was acting up so I had no cell service, which I needed to access instructions to enter. Across the way I approached a waiter at this restaurant. After explaining my predicament, he immediately gave me Wi-Fi access. Looking at me, he stated „You need a drink. Take any seat.“ He brought me a glass of wine. When I asked if I could order dinner, he informed me the restaurant was actually about to close, but said he’d see what he could do. He came back with a slice of their traditional cake! He asked if I was able to get the info I needed to access my Airbnb. Yes. Later, when I tried to pay, he would not take any money. Wow! I was very impressed with the friendliness he showed upon my arrival in Slovenia!! (The photo looking down on the restaurant is from my Airbnb.) This Restaurant should commend this waiter for his genuinely humane actions. Visit this restaurant with its ideal location on the historic walking street!

The food was excellent. They have traditional eastern Slovenian food made the vegetarian way. It is definitely worth trying.

Light vegan steak was a chewy slice of flavourless nothing. Soup came with stale bread. Vegan “spreads” had the mouthfeel of eating a spoon of cold coconut oil. Vegan ham *was* quite good though. Overall an unpleaseant experience that cost far too much money and somehow took two hours.

Warning: the online reservation system is misleading and blatantly lying in your face (" Shortly you'll receive a new email from us. If you have sent the booking at closing time we'll reply after we open."). After not getting any confirmation (or rejection) for a while, I asked in person and learned that the owner deliberately does not respond. As such, you have to make reservations in person or by phone.

Vegan bograč is a must. Nothing to add, just try! (bograč is a traditional soup, in the plate in photo you can see dödölle tris too).

Questo locale è un'ottima soluzione per una persona vegana che fa visita a Lubiana. I piatti sono buonissimi e gustosi e rappresentano una rivisitazione dei piatti tipici locali. Da provare assolutamente il goulash e la torta tipica Prekmurska Gibanica. Quest'ultima è una torta a strati preparata con ricotta, miele, noci e semi di papavero. Assolutamente consigliato!

Amazing experience! We were a bit apprehensive because of some poor reviews (although we mainly had a good laugh about people who are bothered by vegetarian dishes), but we were so, so happy we went! We had the small feast for 2 (which was not quite small) and it was lovely to try the real Slovenian cuisine!

This restaurant is very good and known for desserts and sweets. You can also eat and drink there. The service is very good and the restaurant is perfectly located in Ljubljana. There are many choices of vegetarian -vegan dishes. I don't know if all the menus are vegetarian :) I recommend this address 🙂

J'ai été un peu déçue. J'ai pris les gnocchis au pesto, ils manquaient de saveur. J'ai eu l'occasion de tester le dessert traditionnel dans un autre restaurant et il était meilleur dans l'autre restaurant. Le service était long. Je n'y retournerai pas.

Leckeres Essen, das eigentlich alles auch in vegan zubereitet werden kann bzw. bereits so ist. Fehlt bisschen das Gemüse, teilweise war es etwas zu trocken und stopfend, aber das kann ja auch am traditionellen Vorbild liegen. Auf jeden Fall dennoch sehr lecker und empfehlenswert :)

Locale molto carino nel centro di Lubjiana. Il menu prevede piatti della tradizione, ma in generale piatti di carne rivisitati in opzioni vegetariane e vegane. Avrei voluto sicuramente provare molte più cose perché quello che abbiamo ordinato era davvero buono. Consigliato👍🏻

We came here to try the traditional Slovenian dessert 'gibanica'. It was delicious but also cost a few dimes (6€). I can't say much about the rest of the restaurant as we just stayed for 20 minutes.

We went in without knowing it was vegan. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and tastiness of the food. We can only recommend to give it a try to. They adapted slovenian dishes to be vegan and also propose some meat dishes so that everyone can enjoy. The service was great, the two waiter we had were super helpful and opened an additional room for us.
