Great food, but a very unpleasant experience altogether. We had dinner not one, but two times in just one week, with a group of 12 - a party that should be taken care of and treated with respect and hospitality, especially if you come more than once - or so you would think. While on our first evening, things were fine, the complete opposite was the case tonight. Service was absolutely self centred and uncooperative. One in our party asked for an extra wish on their pizza, to which the waiter said "you can't have that here" in a very blunt and unfriendly way. When asked for ketchup to go with a plate of french fries for the children, we were also told "we don't have that.". At the end of the meal, we wanted to order digestifs, but we didn't get the chance - the waiter unaskedly slammed the bill on the table and left. We asked if it was possible to split up the bill, as we were 4 families; the waiter shook his head in utter disbelief and let us know there was, of course, no way of doing this. In 2022 in a day and age of digital payment and credit cards, it is absolute international standard to split a bill, but apparently the staff here doesn't see it that way. We have rarely encountered a waiter as impolite and forgetful of his role in a great restaurant as today. Kudos to the kitchen, but this experience was unacceptable. This is not how you treat your guests. We will not be coming again.
