Wanted to take part in wine tasting. Called the estate - no answers. Drove there, saw a sign "we are open", no one was there. Called a second number that wasn't listed online but on site. Called the number and were told no had time for us on that day. Very disappointing.

We absolutely loved our visit to the T.I.L.I.A. Estate Winery. We showed up without a reservation. Mojca met us at door and offered a tasting in the cellar. The pours were generous, and she was a knowledgeable and fun hostess. We briefly met the owner who was also very fun. The vineyards are small but mighty. We'd definitely recommend this visit to others!

This small but wonderful winery provides private tastings in their wine cellar. They let you wander the fields. They treat you like friends. Mojza is wonderful! Kind and knowledgeable. Go visit!

By far this was the best wine tasting experience I’ve had. The staff were extremely welcoming and personable! Mojca was very knowledgeable about the wines and made us feel at home and comfortable.

Paid this winery a visit last year. A smaller familiy-run winery, nicely settled between the hills. The tour and wine tasting was very personal and of really good quality. We ended up buying a fair few bottles as both the whites and reds were of outstanding quality. Highly recommended!

I rarely submit reviews but just had to add a comment on this occasion to say what a fantastic time we had at Tilia Estate. We were unexpected but were made to feel very welcome from the start. The tasting tour included a visit to the vineyard and the cellars; it was so interesting and informative, we learned so many new things about the wine making process. The were given a wide selection of wines to try, together with bread, olive oil and cheese. it was clear that these were good wines and although very different to each other, there was something to suit every taste. I could not recommend this highly enough. if you're in the area, be sure to make a stop!

We toured this winery as part of a harvest tour led by Andrew Villone, an American now living in Slovenia. Matjaz, the winemaker, made us feel at home immediately. He spent lots of time telling us how he crafts his wine, how and where the grapes are raised and harvested, all the details a wine drinker likes to hear. All the wines were great and we left with several bottles of his best. Matjaz is a fountain of knowledge about all the wine regions of Slovenia and was a perfect host to our group. We are looking forward to going back sometime soon.

Amazing winery with awesome experience. Wine testing serve by Mojca was excellence. She explained well not only the history of the winery and wines they produced, but also took us a tour to the wine cellar. Total 10 white and red samples plus Cheese and bread, we stay there for almost 2 hours.........this is the winery you wont miss if you are in the area.

Amazing service and delicious wines. We got a tour of the vineyard, at least 10 samples and cheese. Would go back.
