My husband and I stopped on our way between Sarajevo and Mostar at the recommendation of Adnan our tour guide in Sarajevo. What a surprise! As we came around the the driveway the vineyard opened up to vines and a large vegetable patch. So neat and tidy. We knocked on the door and were welcomed by Branimir, our host. A tour of the property was first and we munched our way through pomegranates, tomatoes, figs and grapes, that were hanging from the plants. Next the actual winery, but best of course was the tasting and the conversation with our host. We were there 3 hours and when we left with our trunk full, Branimir led us to the Croatian Border so we wouldn’t get lost! If you’re within driving distance GO!
