It is a wonderful vineyard with the most welcoming hosts. We turned up unannounced and interrupted their harvests lunch, but still, they gave us a quick tour and some wine tasting. Very, very accommodating. The family owned vineyards entologist was very knowledgeable and gave us an interesting overview of their processes. The wine is very tasty, and I look forward to when it will be available in the UK. If we didn't have a limit on luggage weight for our journey home, I would have bought more than just 3 bottles of wine.

Przesympatyczna właścicielka i pyszne wina. Mimo braku czasu znalazła dla nas chwilę aby pokazać winiarnie i poczęstować winem. Widać ogrom pasji i pracy włożony w to miejsce. Bardzo dziękujemy za gościnność i poświęcony czas.

We had the most welcoming and lovely wine tasting experience at Bencina. We saw a hard working family putting their love and knowledge into production. The wines also taste amazing. Would definitely recommend!

My friends and I visited your winery 4 days ago and this was hands down our favorite thing we did while in Slovenia. Dusan, his wife and their grandson Rene were incredible hosts and very kind. I have never done a wine tasting like the one you guys provide and I loved every minute of it. We got to taste wine in the cellar and eat some homemade snacks. The wine was also very tasty. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a nice afternoon to stop by Benčina winery, you will not regret it.

Our recent visit to Benčina Wines was nothing short of spectacular. Despite arriving without a reservation and giving just a five-minute notice, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible host. Their hospitality set the tone for what would become the best wine tasting experience we've ever had. The wines at Benčina are absolutely out of this world. Each bottle offered a unique blend of flavors that left us thoroughly impressed and eager for more. It was impossible to leave without purchasing ten bottles to savor at home. We did a lot of wine tastings all around the world… but THIS one at Benčina was definitely the BEST! We spontaneously called and asked if we can do the wine tasting and were received super friendly just a few minutes later. First the mother Darja let us try a nice rose sparkling wine and told us a bit about their family business, their wines, the region and so on. We visited the wine cellars, where we met her son Marko. He took a loooot of time and let us taste tons of EXCELLENT whites, reds and another sparkling wine (traditional appellacion). Wooooow were these all great wines!! We could really not decide which wine was the best, because one was better then the next… Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Rebula, Merlot, … Marko just did not stop to serve one very classy wine after the other, explaining each in great details. An amazing afternoon of highest viniculture!! Really exceeded our expectations by far. Such a variety and high quality of wines… served by one of the friendliest wine maker families we ever encountered. THANKS so much… we really hope to come back one day!

Dusan and Danica are amazing hosts. We had a fun time walking around with Dusan during the wine tasting and listening to his stories. Danica also made some delicious soup followed by a large charcuterie platter. We highly recommend visiting this vinery. It is now our favorite!!!

Tako gospod Dušan kot njegova žena sta odlična gostitelja in zelo prijazna. Degustacija je odlična, z veliko strokovnega ozadja in predvsem odličnega vina. Vse skupaj zaokrožijo odlični prigrizki gospe Benčina. Toplo priporočam, ne boste razočarani!
