Incredibly well done. Lots of interactive material and just enough detail. The WW1 bunker was good and the exploration of the rise and fall of Yugoslavia is well presented. I was surprised to see the museum very quiet as I think anyone visiting Slovenia should visit.

Музей произвел очень благоприятное впечатление. Много информации по новейшей истории Словении , а также истории , начиная с прошлого века. Борьба с фашистской Германией, истинные границы Словении прошлого века, период правления Тито, социалистическое прошлое. Музей относительно небольшой, но экскурсовод выдаёт столько много интересных фактов и вехи развития Словении, что часовая программа проходит очень быстро.

I loved this museum! I am immensely impressed by their ability to present heavily-loaded content from important points in time in such a well-organized, brief but informative way. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent museum! Everything is so well explained and set that we were so happy about it. The tickets are super cheap for what the museum is. It should be mentioned in every city guide. Historically, it starts with austro hungarian empire and it is until today. For me, knowing more about the history of this area was really worth it. I really recommend this place!

Muzej nudi zanimiv vpogled v novejšo zgodovino Slovenije. Obiskovalci lahko obujajo spomine ob predmetih, ki so bili del njihovega vsakdana v nekdanji skupni državi Jugoslaviji. Občasno pa muzej poskrbi za kakšno odmevno razstavo, ki privabi nove obiskovalce. Otrokom verjetno najbolj zanimiv del muzeja je imitacija fronte iz prve svetovne vojne.

Good to find out about socialist era. Could have been improved with having less panels/displays to read and more modern interactive exhibits. Plus some critical analysis of what led to the anti communist protests as Slovenia seemed very well organised with good supplies compared to other Eastern block countries. So not clear about why people protested.

Great little museum and can spend a good couple of hours here for just €4.50. Starts at the outbreak of the First World War and goes through to the current day.

Museo molto bello, il migliore visitato a Ljubljana. Quella raccontata è la storia della Slovenia dai tempi dell'Impero Austroungarico a quelli della Slovenia indipendente, passando per la Jugoslavia. Non ci sono moltissime sale, ma queste sono ricche di reperti e testimonianze. Tutte le didascalie erano in sloveno e inglese. Consigliato per tutta la famiglia, dal momento che vi erano anche alcuni giochi interattivi per i bambini.

Un museo che racconta la storia della Slovenia dall'inizio del primo conflitto mondiale fino ai giorni nostri. Ci sono foto, video, reperti, testimonianze. L'ho trovato curato e decisamente interessante, sebbene non si faccia mai accenno a quanto avvenuto nelle Foibe. Le scritte sono in inglese e in sloveno, tempo della visita: un'ora circa.

Wir sind leider sehr schnell durchs Museum gegangen, weil wir nur wenig Zeit hatten. Ist zwar klein hat aber einen schön aufgebauten Bereich über den ersten und zweiten Weltkrieg. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich mir die Augenzeugenberichte als Video anschauen.
